Meet the instructor

Dr. Amy-Katerini Hall

After facing three career disruptions and two corporate layoffs, I gained firsthand understanding that job loss isn't just about losing a paycheck—it's about grieving your livelihood, identity, and the person you were when you showed up to work each day.

I don't help people find jobs—that's what career counselors are for. Instead, I bring my academic expertise in grief and loss theory to help you understand exactly what you're experiencing and provide evidence-based tools to navigate it.

I've distilled my research into six powerful steps designed to move you through the immediate aftermath of job loss and into genuine job readiness.

When midnight strikes for you, I'll be there to help you get up, dust yourself off, and recognize that while nobody is coming to save you, you absolutely have what it takes to save yourself.
